Mould, as we know it...

Mould, as we know it...

Los Angeles, California.
1983.

Another American city riding the conservative typhoon of Blitzkrieg: Republicalis.
Blazers and Slacks. 'Every Breath You Take'.
In underground culture, 'Punk rock' - as it is was still being refereed to - has transformed in tempo, stature and (seemingly) values, which has caused great divisions between seasoned city-dwelling conceptualists and a younger, 'bored' generation of suburb cruising ruffians.
Metal is steadily becoming something of a hip, 'horny' and moderately transgressive male scene taking it's perch over the 'uptown' strip with its florescent bleed of materialistic patriarchy.
All the while, areas in the East and South central of the city continue to lock a strong groove amid the survivalisms of American Trouble with a scandalous, yet sincere, snow-shone bump.
It was a year which proved to be teetering on the brink of revelation for some and total devolution for others, and somehow, someway, the spirit of this city could've been something of the 'cause' in such a projection, with that equal amount of depth, unto the rest of the world:
A year of free-spirited integrity savouring a fourth/advancing 'final' mixture of medicinal drink (with additives);
before the truest of colds took hold.

The Story:
Following seven years of study, travel and acquaintance with the pastoral offerings of Northern America, 24 year old Gretchen Ordella returns to her birth city after a strange dream plagues and persuades her to reconnect with her cousin Teresa Hesh, whom is happy to have been called for and complaisant towards spending time/sharing a roof over the summer.

Though, a lot had changed since they were teenagers...
What begins as a pleasant yet eventful reintroduction to city life, quickly becomes an issue of severity when certain strangers whisper 'murder' and certain 'friends' pack up and leave town.
With Teresa bed-bound, crippled by an agoraphobic dread on what innumerable horrors may have her name in fate. Gretchen decides to take matters into her own hands in hopes to establish her cousin's innocence, by any means necessary.
