Vibe Prolapse

Vibe Prolapse

Vibe Prolapse takes the typical conventions of reggae/dub selectors with a surrealist slant, combining music with sound bytes, snatches of spoken word and black comedy. The format is based on the literary cut-up technique where songs are interspersed with samples of audio books, field recordings and found sounds to create a flowing composition in itself. Focusing on bringing different styles not commonly heard together, expect anything from Sublime Frequencies to Tuvan singers, or R. Stevie Moore to Ali Ercan.
