Basket Case - Tropicália

Spanning many art forms including film, theatre and poetry, we’ll be focusing on the music scene of the Tropicália movement.
This movement was born in the 1960s at the height of political tensions but rejected by both the authoritarian right and nationalistic left. In their own space, these artists created a unique blend of bossa nova grooves, pop music and avant garde elements.
